And the winners are...1991 Revised Oscars
Monday Sep 29, 2025
Monday Sep 29, 2025
I took a deep dive into 1991, along with special guests Liz Arnold from Liz and a Movie and Scott Cole, and after the episode we turned the voting over to you, the people!
We agreed with the Academy on one winner (Jodie Foster in Lead Actress), so only five categories went to our social media polls for you, the listeners to decide on.
The voting has concluded and it's time to share the results and officially add these winners to the coveted Revisionist's Almanac.
With this episode cycle completed, we turn our attention to episode twenty-two, where I was joined by two returning guests - Tom and Dana Duncan from The Greatest Movie of All-Time Podcast - to dissect the year 1982 (Gandhi winning Best Picture). This episode will release on Friday, October 3rd.
Thanks for checking out the voting results and be sure to subscribe to the channel and rate/review the show!

Wednesday Sep 24, 2025
Paul Thomas Anderson's One Battle After Another (2025) is releasing this week, and I thought this would be a great chance to look back on the filmography of one of the great filmmakers working today.
I went through and ranked my favorite PTA films- reminder, these are my favorites and NOT what I think are his objectively best films.
Do you agree or disagree with my list? What does your PTA ranking look like? You can DM me on any of the social media pages @RevAlmanac or email me at revisionistalmanac@yahoo.com.
