Alone in the Pod Cave - A 2025 Cannes Film Festival Preview

In addition to the normal monthly Almanac episodes, I wanted to set aside time to talk about my favorite film festival of the year, Cannes. 
 
What are some of the movies I'm most excited about, both in competition and out of competition? What other bits of news did I find interesting? And what did you, the listeners tell me you're most excited about and think will win this year's Palme d'Or, the top prize at the festival?

Morris with him to debate Children of Men, The Departed, The Last King of Scotland, Little Miss Sunshine, Pan's Labyrinth, and more!

And the Winners are...1999 Revised Oscars

I took a deep dive into 1999, along with special guests Damon Carter from The NeverEnding Watchlist and Seth Vargas from Movie Friends Podcast, and after the episode we turned the voting over to you, the people!
With us unable to agree with any of the Academy's winners, all six categories went to our social media polls for you, the listeners to decide on. 
The voting has concluded and it's time to share the results and officially add these winners to the coveted Revisionist's Almanac. 
With this episode cycle completed, we turn our attention to episode seventeenth, where I was joined by 1st time guest Daniel Edwards (DanLovesFilm) and back for her 3rd appearance, V.P. Morris - to dissect the year 2006 (The Departed winning Best Picture). This episode will release on Friday, Mary 9th, exclusively in video on the YouTube Channel.
